HOTBOX salon is a community of friendly, talented, and passionate hairdressers who know what it takes to be the best. Founded in 2006, we wanted an alternative to the what we saw in the industry at the time - a loving, collaborative space where all are welcome, work is fun and passion is king.

The decor is really hip/stylish, I was able to get an appointment no problem, there’s great music playing, the shampoo chairs are super comfy, and they have an array of complimentary beverages...but best of all is my super awesome hairstyle and gorgeous color that I now have. The stylist that I had really listened to what I wanted and I am very happy with the results. Everyone else that I saw leave also had great looking hair.”

Since 2007, HOTBOX stylists come together every March to conquer children's cancer with St. Baldrick's where everyday people across the US to raise money from anyone who gets a kick out of watching hair fall to the floor

2006 | not your average salon, founded by David Bangham and Shauna Heinicke
2007 | named "Las Vegas Hotspot" by American Salon magazine
2007-2010 | tough to beat in competitions, placed in 4 Hair Wars competitions, twice taking home the gold, and styled for local nightlife events and private parties
2009 | David Bangham launches HOTBOX workshop, an accredited national advanced education program for professional hairdressers
2010 | HTBX holds Boobapalooza! a local all day event with food, live music and haircuts, all proceeds to Susan G Komen foundation
2011 | HTBX grows up! from a small 7-stylist studio to a new space 3x the size
2013 | owner, David Bangham knighted "Lord of the Bald Table" by St. Baldrick's for 7 years of dedication. HTBX stylists Vicki Casciola and Josh Wixom knighted in 2014
2012-2015 | David Bangham presents his own "Scissor Happy" workshop and "Ultimate Awareness + the Creative Process" at the New York & Las Vegas International Beauty Shows
2015-2020 | HTBX stylist Vicki Casciola styles for the cover of major industry publications including Modern Salon and American Salon
2016-2019 | HTBX stylist Jason Jamiel nominated finalist in Behind The Chair “precision cutting” category
2020 | HTBX stylist Jaquie Figueroa nominated finalist in NAHA “men’s grooming” category
2020 | owner, David Bangham knighted "King of the Bald Table" by St. Baldrick's for 14 years of dedication
Currently | Chillin, doin our thing. When we are not behind the chair, we are educating, directing campaigns, volunteering, styling for photo/video shoots and caring for our kiddos
